Hoi An Merrily De Art Hotel

It felt like staying with family. And the breakfast buffet every morning was very impressive!

Staff were wonderful. We had problem at airport with late arrival and the hotel went out of the way to help us reach the hotel at a late hour.Also, a good location close enough to walk to old town but not as noisy..

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It's clean, not too close or far from the center, the breakfast was good and the staff were all very nice and ready to assist.

I would have appreciated a room with a view of the rice fields rather than the street. The scenic view would have greatly enhanced my stay.

The location was good, it is about a 15/20 min walk to old town but a grab or taxi takes about 5/10 min. The breakfast is great, a lot to choose from and staff is helpful. Bed was very comfortable so that is a plus as most beds are hard in Vietnam.

We stayed in the connecting room on first floor with balcony's we were hoping for a better view so go up a few floors. But maybe the connecting are only on first floor. We stayed on pool side which is probably more quiet than street. You can hear the music from downstairs when staff starts breakfast but it is low volume.

Great value for money. Welcoming and friendly staff. Good proximity between the old town and beach. We arrived early and they let us store our bags while we went out, which was very helpful. Rooms are quiet and pleasant.

We had a few ants but as soon as we noticed them and alerted the staff they cleaned the room and from then we didnt see any ants

Simply the best hotel we have been in whole Vietnam ! Beautiful, clean, adorable staff, beautiful view…Far from the madding crowd yet close to the center by walk! We should have stayed more days in Hoi An !!!!

Location. the balcony. the comfortable bed (not the extra bed)

we booked a triple bed/ family room ,but one bed turned out to be an extra bed (a kind of folding bed) so it was very uncomfortable to sleep in.

Really helpful staff & owner that went out of there way to make our stay enjoyable. Great location - half way between beach and markets. Awesome place for those looking for most creature comforts without the price tag. A bit quieter than close to town/beach but not too far to ride a bicycle/scooter in or cheap taxi

Didn't really get the view we were hoping for.Although I did like the daily breakfasts they could change up the breakfast choices a bit more. I think it's because we stayed longer than most would.

My wife and I frequently holiday in Hoi An. This year was our first stay at the Merrily, and we couldn’t have been happier.  Our deluxe room was a nice size clean, and had  a smart tv, good aircon and Wifi, super comfortable beds, good hot shower,  and a small balcony.  The buffet breakfast was fresh and tasty, with a good variety of foods to choose from, including rice, sausages, noodles, pastries, bread, salads, and egg station.The dining room was nice and cool, never congested, and also included some outdoor seating.We didn’t use the pool a lot, but it was a reasonable size, refreshing, and mostly undercover which afforded sun protection. There were two lounges and a couple of other chairs to sit on.Parking for our rented scooter was available out front, as well as in a secure shed across the road; ideal for night storage.The staff, and owner, were superb, being so friendly, professional and helpful. Special thanks to Tram & Dieu at reception, Ni the chef, Thinh, & Tuan the night security guard who had our scooter waiting out front for us each morning. You all made our stay so enjoyable.Location wise suited us perfectly too, midway between The Ancient town and An Bang beach. We are looking forward to returning again next year.

A safe in the room would have been handy, but no big deal.

Good location with nice view and bit quiet, not so busy, suitable for relaxing. Nice staff and good breakfast.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hoi An Merrily De Art Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and I have to give a special mention to Tram (hope it’s spelled correctly!). She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to offer great advice on things to do around Hoi An. It truly made a difference in my experience.The hotel itself is lovely, with spacious rooms and a cozy, artistic vibe that gives it a unique charm. The breakfast selection was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and with a variety of options to suit all tastes. It was the perfect way to start the day.Overall, I highly recommend Hoi An Merrily De Art Hotel. If you're looking for a welcoming place with amazing service, delicious food, and a great atmosphere, this is the spot!

Nothing, everything was perfect!

Our hosts were very friendly, lovely room and a view of the rice paddies. Great breakfast. We loved the pool!

Absolutely loved it. The bed was so comfy. I had no trouble falling asleep. The pillow, heaven sent. And the staff were so sweet.

This was one of my best stays (if not the best) in Vietnam over a month. The staff are just the best ? soo lovely and helpful. They knew my name and provided loads of helpful recommendations and suggestions for my trip ?. The room is veeery comfortable and clean: I had proper space for my luggage, and it was cleaned every day. The breakfast is THE best from all my travels in SE Asia (over 3 months) - huge selection of items + eggs made to order ?They also free bicycles for rent (if brave enough to cycle ?). Their laundry is also one of the best, the clothes smell soo nice ?

This is my second time visiting this lovely hotel. All the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is tasty, and the room is clean. Look forward to staying again in the near future.

Location was great, just outside old town.Our room was clean and offered a stunning view of the rice paddy fields. The breakfast spread was delightful, featuring made-to-order eggs & Pho , a variety of fresh fruits, yoghurt, and pastries.Highly recommended!"

Rooms are a little small.

The food is awesome, and despite being a small hotel, it has full facilities. Plus, there's a store right next to the hotel for added convenience.

Nothing to complain about.
